Callaghan Country offers a variety of access plans that enable both young and old the sub-alpine adventure of a lifetime. We cater to Alpine Tourers, Telemarkers, and Snowboarders. Our overnight Lodge is surrounded by some of the most diverse terrain choices in all of British Columbia including a perfect balance of alpine and tree skiing. The terminus of Powder Mountain is only minutes away and is a proverbial generator of bottomless POW. The Solitude Glacier provides a gentle angle approach to a vast opportunity of different slopes. Easy Trails for X-Country Skiing

The 20 kms. of x-country ski trail network that surround the Lodge provide a great rest from the access trails leading up to them. Most are rated as Easy and offer exceptional scenic mountain vistas. These trails are groomed for both skate and classic.

Late Summer / Fall

Summer in the sub-alpine brings a profusion of wildflowers which are soon replaced by the rich burgundy and gold colors of Fall. Some choose to pack their paints or cameras and head for a remote spot while others may opt to stroll through a meadow or challenge a high alpine route.
