Callaghan Lodge, nestled into a pristine sub-alpine valley, surrounded by snow capped peaks, is a secluded and spectacular wilderness getaway – perfect for specialty reservations from weddings, family reunions, and other exclusive celebrations to sport camps, wellness or education retreats, and film/photo-shoots.
The 5,000 square foot lodge is a well-appointed backcountry inn boasting friendly hospitality, great food and comfortable accommodation. With a commercial kitchen and a dining room that seats up to 48 people, large groups can make the most of any function or celebration. Guests can enjoy socializing in the inviting fireside lounge area or gear up the competitive spirit with a game of pool, ping-pong, or darts; all in the breathtaking backdrop of our secluded, “postcard” worthy sub-alpine valley. Here’s a quick break-down of our room configuration to give you a better idea of what’s possible in terms of sleeping arrangements at a glance:
3rd Floor: max sleeping capacity of 12 adults
5 Standard rooms; small “berth-style” sleeping nooks (similar to the type of accommodation you would find on a ship or a train; 2 shared bathrooms and a shower-room on the floor
3 x queen rooms = 3 couples or 3 singles
2 x twin rooms = 4 singles
1 x pull-out sofa = 1 couple or 1 single
2nd Floor: max sleeping capacity of 12 adults
2 Superior rooms; cozy “hotel-style” rooms; each with a queen bed, a private bathroom, a balcony
2 x queen rooms = 2 couples or 2 singles
1 Solitude Suite; a spacious suite that can sleep up to 8 people, featuring a bedroom, living room, loft, large deck and bathroom (accessed via the bedroom)
1 x queen bed = 1 couple or 1 single
2 x pull-out sofas = 2 couples or 2 singles
2 x single bunks = 2 singles

There are 2 opportunities to enjoy a full lodge rental:
1. Lodge Buyout – Rent the lodge in its entirety and then add catering, transportation and equipment precisely as needed. Suited for larger budgets, this booking option offers the most flexibility to coordinate everything it takes to create your vision. Itinerary, decor, access, menu, the approach will be “out of the box” and everything can be catered to your specific needs.
2. Traditional Nightly Ski-in/Ski-out Packages for enough guests to fill the lodge – Book our traditional nightly ski-in/ski-out packages for all the lodge suites & rooms, then sit back and relax as we deliver the rest. When you consider that our traditional packages already include all your meals (including a fine-dining experience at dinner time) accommodation, and a breathtaking venue, there’s not really much else you may need – this booking option is a great opportunity to bring in the reins on budget without sacrificing your vision of a remote mountain celebration.

Our tenure area spans more than 3,500 hectares of untouched wilderness, with sub-alpine meadows, old-growth forests, alpine lakes, ponds, creeks, waterfalls, talus slopes, glaciers, and rugged mountain peaks. Without a doubt, Callaghan Country is the most pristine, untracked, and accessible natural area in the Whistler region.
Callaghan Lodge makes an ideal base for commercial shoots. There are no roads to the Lodge, ensuring that production can proceed without disruption.
