The staging area is located at the base of the Callaghan Forest Services Road, 13km South West of Whistler Resort and 100 km North of Vancouver.

In the heart of Callaghan Country, in a picturesque sub-alpine meadow, 4,500’ above sea level, is Callaghan Lodge – Whistler’s only full-service remote-access lodge.

Cozy and charming backcountry lodge situated on the shores of its own private lake - first opened in November 1998.

Rooms: Currently accommodates 16 people in 8 private rooms

• 5 standard rooms: 3 with queen berths, 2 with twin berths
• 2 superior rooms with queen beds and private bathrooms
• 1 deluxe suite: the Solitude Suite featuring a private living room, fireplace, and ensuite

Future development plans will see the addition of 3 more private rooms, a retail and rental facility, meeting room, and sauna.

Meals: Delicious, hearty meals prepared by our Lodge Chef and served 'en famille.'

Amenities: Full kitchen and dining facilities, comfortable lounge area, stone and propane fireplaces, library, pool table, house guitar, board games, gear drying room, indoor plumbing and shower facilities.

Callaghan Lodge is located 22km/13.7mi from the main staging area.

In the winter, guests are transported from the staging area either by snow coach, snowmobile or helicopter. Guests with athletic ability are encouraged to ski the remaining 12.5km/7.8mi from Alexander Falls to the Lodge, along the company’s dedicated Nordic access trail.

In the summer, primary access is via helicopter only. It is possible to drive 18km/11.2mi from the staging area to Callaghan Lake Provincial Park, and then hike in the remaining 4km/2.5mi.
